Climax Locomotive No 1694 is in need of major boiler, frame and running gear work before it can be restored to service on the 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) gauge Puffing Billy Railway in Victoria, Australia. NEW CLIMAX VOLUNTEER WORKDAYS COMMENCING 12th AUGUST 2006
Our volunteer workdays are the 2nd Saturday and 3rd Sunday each month, Belgrave workshops, Contact us if you are able to assist or for further information. These Climax specific workdays have been made possible by your generous donations the the Climax Appeal. Thank you to all who have dontated to the project and for your continued support!

120th Birthday Party for 861 on Sunday 17th September.
You are all invited to a party to celebrate the 120 years of running by Locomotive 861. This will be a day designed for fun and photos of 861 and 986 along the line from Emerald to Gembrook. There will be two cakes – one for 861 and 986, and one for the rest of us. Book early as we expect a lot of interest in this party and places will be limited. Come along and help the Climax project.
