January 2005 Update
The locomotive was dismantled and the boiler removed from the frame, the boiler has undergone a survey of metal thickness by ultrasound using a 4" grid pattern over the whole boiler.
Some asbestos found in the boiler dome has been professionally removed and disposed of, Also the boiler has been sent out to be grit blasted.
